Our Values

Our heart’s desire to seek God is part of our DNA as human beings. But every person’s spiritual journey looks different, and at Draw Near we honor where you’ve been, where you’re at, and where you’re headed on that journey. Whether you were born and raised in the church, or you feel skeptical of faith at best, there’s a place for you here as you reach out and feel your way toward God – no judgment, no pressure.

“God’s purpose was for the nations to seek after Him and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him- though he is not far from any one of us.” Acts 17:27

There’s nothing like a girl gang who’s got your back! And that’s precisely what we hope you’ll find at Draw Near. We’re a community who gets to know each other’s stories in a real way – sharing both the good and the bad, the spicy and the sweet! We believe God intended us to live in authentic, deep community with one another – in truly being known, we truly belong.

Jesus changes lives for the better! A relationship with Him is a deeply personal matter of both the mind and the heart. At our gatherings, we make it our goal to craft safe and welcoming environments for you to both grow in knowledge about who Jesus is and experience His goodness in a genuine way.

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”  Romans 10:9-10 NLT

Spiritual growth matters to us at Draw Near, and we know from personal experience that becoming all God created us to be requires intention, perseverance, and whole lot of grace. Our passion is to come alongside you to encourage and support you as you take the next right step towards God and His good purposes for you – whatever that may look like for you in the moment. No two stories are alike, and we celebrate both bold leaps of faith and courageous baby steps!
